Betsy Black Consulting provides a range
of consulting and training services to help CDFIs improve their effectiveness.
CDFIs provide financial and technical support to benefit disadvantaged
individuals and communities in the areas of housing, community facilities,
and community and economic development. Betsy has 15 years experience
with community development financial institutions as a trainer, coach,
facilitator, consultant, investor, and staff member, specializing in
capitalization, strategic and implementation planning, assessment of
orgainizational financial strength and performance, marketing, executive
coaching, and organizational development including board and leadership
development, meeting and facilitation skills, team building, and time
management. In addition, Betsy has developed classes and trained at
sites throughout the United States, at Opportunity Finance Network Annual
Training Conferences, for the National Native Communities Financing
Initiative, and for Oweesta Corporation.
